Some people think of the foot as being just a foot, but the foot is actually very complex. The foot is made up of 26 bones, 33 joints, more than 100 tendons, muscles, ligaments and a network of blood vessels, nerves, skin and soft tissue. Most people do not have what is called a “normal” foot. There are many abnormalities and problems that can occur with the foot. When your foot is not in correct alignment it becomes dysfunctional and off balance causing the rest of your body to be off balance.
